Using AssetPrism

These terms apply to AssetPrism and its optional Pro features. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. AssetPrism is licensed, not sold; you may use it on devices you own or control, subject to the applicable App Store license and usage rules.

Planning estimates, not financial advice

AssetPrism is a planning and recordkeeping tool. Forecasts use mathematical models, simulation assumptions, and the information you enter. Your chosen retirement age is an input, not a determination that you can retire at that age. Market scenarios and retirement spending estimates do not predict actual returns, guarantee an outcome, or account for every tax, fee, benefit rule, personal circumstance, or future event.

The app does not provide investment, tax, legal, or individualized financial advice. Check your inputs and assumptions and seek an appropriately qualified professional before making financial decisions. You remain responsible for those decisions.

Free and Pro features

The free version includes one basic forecast, up to two life events, three goals, and five asset entries. Pro unlocks retirement spending simulation, higher limits, and the additional features shown in the app's purchase screen. The purchase screen describes the current offer and localized price before you buy.

Subscriptions and Lifetime purchases

Pro is available through optional monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when confirmed. A subscription renews unless cancelled according to the terms shown by Apple, normally at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If a free trial is offered, Apple displays its eligibility, length, and renewal terms before confirmation.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings; see Apple's cancellation instructions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime is a non-consumable, one-time purchase with no subscription renewal; it grants the Pro entitlement and does not promise that the app or every future feature will be maintained forever.

Restore purchases and refunds

Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Availability of an entitlement is subject to Apple's verified transaction status. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law; see Apple's refund instructions. We cannot process App Store refunds directly.

Your records and acceptable use

Planning and asset records are stored locally. You are responsible for maintaining your device and any backups you choose to make. Removing the app, losing a device, or restoring a backup can affect your data. Do not use the app unlawfully, interfere with its operation, or bypass purchase protections. Restrictions do not limit rights that applicable law expressly permits.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, StoreKit purchases, support communications, and this website's hosting. It forms part of the information provided with these terms.

Availability and liability

We aim to provide a useful app but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, accuracy of projections, or suitability for a particular financial decision. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the app is provided as available and the developer is not liable for financial losses resulting from reliance on hypothetical forecasts. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the app changes, with the updated date shown here. Changes do not remove mandatory consumer rights or the purchase terms already applicable to an existing transaction. For questions, contact the developer of AssetPrism at astradev123@gmail.com.
