PRIVACY POLICY

Your motion data stays on your device.

Effective August 3, 2026

Overview

RideCue does not require an account. It uses motion sensors to render visual cues while a session is running. Sensor readings are processed on your device and are not stored or transmitted by RideCue.

Anonymous product analytics

RideCue uses TelemetryDeck to understand whether core features work and how the app is used. TelemetryDeck receives limited product-interaction events, such as opening the app, starting or ending a session, changing a cue setting, viewing the paywall, or selecting a feedback category.

The TelemetryDeck SDK also supplies pseudonymous device and session identifiers and general technical context such as app version, device model, operating-system version, language, region, time zone, display characteristics, and accessibility preferences. This data is used for analytics, is not linked to your identity, and is not used to track you across apps or websites.

RideCue does not send raw motion readings, precise motion values, health information, free-form feedback, email content, purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, prices, or payment information to TelemetryDeck.

Local data

Your cue preferences, onboarding state, free-session usage, and review-prompt cooldown are stored locally on your device. Removing the app normally removes this local data.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. RideCue checks Apple-provided entitlement status to unlock Pro. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the address and content you choose to send. We use it only to respond and resolve the issue, and retain it only as reasonably needed for support and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can stop analytics collection by discontinuing use and removing RideCue. Because analytics identifiers are pseudonymous and RideCue has no account system, we generally cannot associate an analytics record with a specific person. You may contact us with privacy questions.

Children

RideCue is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as RideCue changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
